Premier League form table 2026/27: the last 5 games with xG
The form table is the one fans check on a Monday, and the one that is easiest to misread. Here is the live Premier League version: every club's last 5 results, with the xG for and against over the same games so you can see who is actually playing well.
Right now. Manchester City lead on 15 points from 5, 3 ahead of Arsenal. Biggest climber: Chelsea, up 1 place to 6th.

What the numbers mean
A form table takes the last 5 games only, which is short enough to catch a change and long enough to mean something. Beside the results sit the xG numbers for the same games, which is what separates a side that has started playing well from a side that has had a kind run of fixtures and finishing.
The bars put each club against the rest of the league over the same 5 games: xG difference for the underlying level, goals scored, goals conceded (reversed, so a full bar means the fewest) and xG for. A full bar means the top of that group.
The list rebuilds every night from the latest matches, so it will move as the season goes on. The date on each card says when it last changed.
How is the form table ranked?
By points from each club's last 5 league games, with xG difference over the same games as the tie-break. Clubs that have played fewer than 5 games are ranked on the games they have.
Why show xG next to results?
Five results can flatter or hide a team. The xG for and against over the same 5 games says whether the points came from performances or from luck, which is the better guide to the next 5.
How often does it update?
Every night, from the latest matches. The order, the cards and the table rebuild together, and the date on each card says when the list last changed.
Reading the list
A club at the top on points but low on xG difference has been winning games it did not control; expect that to correct. A club low on points with a strong xG difference is the one to back for the next month. The tiles on each card show the sequence, and the colour of each is the result. Every club has a full FDscout team page with the xG trend across the whole season.
