Terms of Service

Last updated: 9 August 2026

FDscout ("the Service", "we") is a football statistics and scouting web application at fdscout.com, operated by Isaac Pells, trading as FDscout ("the Operator"). Contact: contact@fdscout.com. By creating an account or subscribing you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

FDscout provides football player and team statistics, derived metrics (percentiles, role scores, traits), comparison tools, shortlists and player pools. Data is compiled from licensed third-party sources; we do not guarantee completeness or accuracy, and metrics involve modelling choices that are ultimately editorial judgements. The Service is currently in public beta: features may change, and occasional interruptions or data corrections are expected.

2. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. You may sign in with a password or via Google. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are £9.99/month or £99/year, billed via Stripe. Prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel any time from your account, taking effect at the end of the paid period. If you cancel within 14 days of first subscribing and have made only reasonable use of the Service in that time, email us and we will refund your first payment in full — otherwise payments are non-refundable except where the law requires.

4. Acceptable use

Personal, non-commercial scouting and analysis use only, unless agreed otherwise in writing. You must not: scrape, bulk-export or redistribute the underlying statistical data; share account access; resell or republish Service output as a competing data product; or attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service. Reasonable sharing of individual screenshots and insights (social media, blogs, video) with credit to FDscout is welcome.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, its design and derived metrics are the Operator's property or licensed to it. Underlying match data is licensed from third-party providers and remains their property. Player likenesses and club identifiers are used descriptively to identify entities.

6. Liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for losses arising from use of the Service, including decisions made in reliance on its data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

7. Changes and termination

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified by email or in-app at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance. You may close your account at any time by emailing us.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales (or your local courts where consumer law gives you that right).
